Qualified and Certified

InterNACHI® Certified Professional Inspector CPI®

I am an InterNACHI® Certified Professional Inspector CPI®, registered state of WI home inspector, a certified Building Analyst (BA) with BPI, a certified HERs rater with RESNET, Home Performance consultant and New homes consultant with the WI Focus on Energy NHP program, and am also an ENERGY STAR partner.

All InterNACHI-Certified Professional Inspectors CPI®, BPI certified inspectors, HERs raters, and Home Performance consultants are required to pass exams on building science, proper testing and procedures, follow comprehensive standards of practice, abide by strict codes of ethics, and take accredited continuing education courses each year in order to maintain their memberships, certifications, and registrations in good standing.

Additionally, I’ve worked in the trades, been a field superintendent for local and national home builders building homes and 8 and 10 family condo complexes, and have been in the home performance industry as a consultant for over 20 years.  I was also a Firefighter/EMT advancing to Advanced-EMT with the Wales Genesee Fire Department before resigning to focus on work in 2018.

My Inspector Certifications

Trained & Experienced

Our inspectors are Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® trained by InterNACHI—the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (—which is the world's largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors that provides education, training, and certification.

All InterNACHI-Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® are required to pass an Inspector Exam, follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, abide by a strict Code of Ethics, and take accredited Continuing Education courses each year in order to maintain their membership in good standing.

In order to become certified, our inspectors were required to take inspection courses related to the interior and exterior of the home, including the common and major areas of concern for home buyers, such as the foundation, heating and cooling, roof, plumbing, and electrical systems. Our inspectors are graduates of the InterNACHI® School, the world's only home inspector college that offers the nationally-accredited Home Inspector Certificate Program.

Buying a home is typically the biggest investment you will ever make, so it's important to get a home inspection because the inspector can find and document defects that may or may not be evident to you.  Such defects can range from simple replacements or repairs to severe damage or safety and health concerns.
